We have an opportunity for a Junior Engineer in Kent. Have you just completed your Higher National Diploma or Degree in construction? Are looking for a Junior Engineer or Graduate Engineer position in Kent? If the answer is yes to the questions above we may have the right role for you



* Position: Junior or Graduate Engineer
* Location: Rochester, Kent
* Contract type: Freelance or Permanent
* Start date: 20th August 2018
* Duration: 20 months
* Pay rate / salary: £ competitive

The company:

A national contractor delivering high and low rise high quality homes for developers and housing associations across the country. Currently there are 23 projects underway in the South of England and another 4 due to go live in the next 12 months.

The project:

A new build high-rise development delivering 200+ high specification new homes with a host of occupant facilities, along with commercial and retail outlets to the ground floor.

The role of Graduate Engineer / Junior Engineer:

You will provide support to the project team by undertaking technical project tasks which will involve:



* Undertaking site investigations & inspections.
* Collecting and analysing data.
* Completing feasibility studies.
* Assisting with preparing tender documents.
* Carrying out construction inspections.
* Supervision of subcontractor works.
* Contribute to developing technical solutions at design stages.

What you need to qualify:



* Either of completed or be just about to complete your academic studies in construction or civil engineering.
* Previous experience of basic setting out would be desirable.
