This small and nurturing Church of England village school located in the Dorking area is looking for an engaging and exciting teacher to join their KS1 team. The school is looking for a flexible member of staff who can embody the school values and provide an excellent start in the first stage of formal education to its young learners. The Ofsted rated "Good" school has the capacity to educate approximately 120 pupils and strives to give the children the skills to make sense of the world around them as well as become life long learners.
This school is looking for a teacher with experience of working within all KS1 years, who can demonstrate a strong knowledge of the relevant curriculum. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative when following lesson plans, ensuring that they are contributing to the school values and ethos within all of their teaching. They are looking for a team player who is keen to join a passionate KS1 team will demonstrate an ability to develop a strong moral code in their pupils. The school strongly believes in community learning including creative subjects in everyday life. They are looking for a flexible member of staff to work across KS1 starting in December.

Responsibilities
- Keeping up to date records of students progression and learning
- Delivering active and creative lessons
- Representing Christian values and ethos in all aspects of teaching
- Inspiring a life long love of learning in every individual child.
- Be able to reach every individual child and ensure raise in attainment

Requirements
- An understanding of the Primary curriculum (EYFS, KS1 and KS2)
- Relevant qualifications (PGCE, QTS etc.)
- Experience teaching in a Primary School
- An up-to-date DBS on the update service
- 2 references for the last 5 years
- Eligibility to work in the UK
