job description

KS2 Teacher (September) - BARKING & DAGENHAM

A Primary school situated in the Borough of Barking & Dagenham is seeking to appoint a full time Key Stage 2 teacher on a permanent contract for the beginning of the new academic year in September.

The school is willing to be flexible on the specific year group within Key Stage 2 as, those who are shortlisted will be able to state which is their preferred year group to teach in September.

If you are flexible enough to be able to teach any class that covers Year 3 to Year 6, then all the better!

Are you a fully qualified Primary school teacher seeking a permanent contract within KS2 for the new academic year?

Are you looking to be able to choose the specific year group that best suits your strengths as a teacher? Of course you are!

This is a school that strives to provide each child with every opportunity available to acquire the essential skills that prepares them not only for the transition to Secondary education, but also for their working life; pupils are at the core of everything the school does.

This a school with a forward thinking approach to learning where diversity of language, religion and culture is embraced and celebrated.

This is underpinned through providing a safe and secure learning environment that is allied to a curriculum that is stimulating, challenging and fun in equal measure.

Pupils are constantly encouraged to have an enquiring mind and it is hoped that the aforementioned curriculum will instigate this.

A healthy respect exists between the staff and children, as well as a sense of teamwork and integrity.

The school is proud of the strong links it has forged with the local community and this includes partnerships built with parents and carers.

This is truly an outstanding opportunity for the successful applicant.

Applicants will need to hold QTS or be suitably qualified to be able to teach in schools in the UK as well as possessing effective classroom management strategies.
