Are you an experienced Chemical or Microbiology Laboratory Analyst? Do you thrive on delivering high quality service?

Laboratory Analyst working at a multi-national consumer goods company based in Grays, Essex.

This is a short term assignment for 3 months with the possibility to extend.

Working Hours and Pay Rate:



* Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 06:00AM to 18:00PM
* Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday: 06:00AM to 18:00PM

* (Average of 40 hours PER WEEK)

* £11.69 PER HOUR

* plus a generous shift allowance of £78 PER WEEK.

Responsibilities:



* Using laboratory techniques to analyse levels of chemicals within intermediate and finished
* Record all data in specialist software
* Ensure all products meet the quality criteria
* Escalate and report any occasions of non-compliance within products
* Responsibility of the release of intermediate materials and finished product

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have the appropriate Chemistry or Microbiology skills and capability.

Desirable would be experience in some or all of the following:



* Experience working in another laboratory (GLP/GMP)
* Ability to follow and self-learn Chemistry/Microbiology SOPs
* To make improvements to the Laboratory standards and processes
* Basic/intermediate level computer skills
* HSE Understanding
* Able to use chemistry techniques to identify chemical levels within a product
* Relevant experience within a production or manufacturing setting
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently
* Flexible approach to working hours
* Able to work independently
* Ability to prioritise and escalate non compliance
