job description

The client are a house builder with a Head Office in Buckinghamshire that specialise in the development of large urban regeneration sites across the South Coast.

They are currently recruiting for a Land Manager to be based out of their permanent site office in Southampton. The ideal candidate will be working very closely with the Regional Construction Director but would report into the Land Director out of their Head Office and so will be required the visit the office in High Wycombe once a week. Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of the South Coast and must have at least 5 years experience working as a Land Manager. Due to the level of experience required the client have stated they would be looking to pay up to £60k + package + bonuses.

Responsibilities

* Researching new business opportunities as part of a proactive approach to the identification and acquisition of land.
* Appraising new land opportunities and the completion of planning, technical and legal due diligence.
* Project managing the promotion of sites through the development and planning process.
* Preparing representations on local plans.
* Responsible for promoting schemes within agreed budgets.
* Developing relationships with key external stakeholders.
