Are you experienced within the Land Surveying field as either a Surveying Manager or a Senior Surveyor managing others within your business? Are you looking for a new challenge then read on.

My client is a well known and respected company that has been in the UK market for many years and has strong relationships with a large portfolio of clients including many blue chip contractors and smaller regional contractors.

They are looking to add to their team as they enter a planned growth phase within their business over the next few years. They are looking for someone that has either worked as a Survey manager within another business previously or maybe a Senior Surveyor with strong experience who is ready for that step up to the next level in their career. As a innovative company that is moving into new markets (both sector and geographically) to compliment their existing business they are able to offer genuine long term career development for the right candidate.

The relevant candidate will

Report directly to the Senior Survey Manager and progress enquires to client issue stage. The Survey Manager will liaise with the client to produce the quote. Once an enquiry is issued, the Survey Manager will liaise with the client with the aim of winning the project.

The role will include transitioning the company from a sub-contracting model to an in-house model for Underground Utility surveys. Setting up preferred methods of survey, and training of staff will be part of the brief.

The Survey Manager's role will include,



* Project Administration, Client Liaison & Resource Allocation - staff, equipment, vehicles, etc.
* Establishing / Ensuring Project Milestones are kept
* Writing preferred survey methods
* Data Issue & QA of Completed Projects
* To assist the Senior Survey Manager in meeting divisional monthly budgets & targets.


SKILLS REQUIRED

* Competent in all Underground Utility, Land & Measured Building Survey techniques and Construction Surveying.
* Competent user of all underground utility instrumentation & GPS, Total Stations, 3D Laser Scanners, etc, & AutoCAD
* Managerial experience essential
* Be familiar with processing all underground utility data and presentation of same
* Full UK Driving License required
