job description

The company brief:

This very well-established practice specialise in design of the external environment by considering architecture, urban design, master-planning and landscape architecture when approaching their projects. They work on urban and landscape designs, master-planning and architecture of mixed-use or large schemes, ranging anywhere from 20-3,000 units - these projects run throughout the UK and occasionally internationally. They pride themselves on their design-led approach and delivery to clients, providing a high-quality service. Due to a range of exciting new projects being realised, they are now looking to take on a new Landscape Architect (open to temporary or permanent candidates), who are proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and hand-drawing.

Your new role:

As a Landscape Architect, you will have the opportunity to join a brilliant, multi-disciplinary practice. Depending on your level of experience, you may need to work alongside an Architect or take on and manage your own projects, working closely with clients and demonstrating good attention to producing detailed drawings, using AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and hand-drawing. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects across the UK and internationally, with the opportunity for occasional site visits. As a Landscape Architect, you will need to not only produce detailed drawings but have good communication skills to liaise with colleagues and between external parties. If you are a more junior member of staff, there is the possibility of having your chartership supported.

About you:

* Good experience with both AutoCAD and Abode suite as well as hand-drawing skills are essential.
* Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple jobs.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Client-facing experience is beneficial.
* Be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a small team.
* People of all levels of experience will be considered - graduates to senior candidates.

What you will get in return

* Ability to develop your skills and experience within the company; chartership supported.
* A competitive salary.
* 22 days holiday allowance + bank holidays.
* UK pension contributions.
* Regular CPD training.
* Bonuses offered after 2 year's service.
