Lead Teacher of Arabic (possible HOD)

Required: ASAP 2018

Location: Qatar

Curriculum: UK Curriculum

Experience: 2 years preferably

Sponsorship: Single teachers or married teaching couples with dependants (Free tuition for up to 1 child)

Salary: Very competitive for the region and TAX FREE.

Contract:2 years renewable

This A Grade school opened in 2015 and has grown each year of operation. 2018 sees the school open up to GCSE level (year 10). It part of a network of very well-known and credible schools and their facilities at this school are second to none. The school is purpose built with some of the best and most up to date facilities available in the region. The school offers UK curriculum to Year 9 and will be offering IB in the Senior school. The school is located in the heart of Al Wakrah - which is a growing coastal region in the South of Doha.

Successful applicant will be teaching Arabic as a first language to Arabic students in years 7- 10, with 4 lessons a week for each year group.

All candidates must have a Bachelor degree from an accredited institution. All teachers being considered for specific positions should have the breadth and depth in the subject area for which they are being hired. Transcripts are to be reviewed for courses consistent with the grade level in which they will be teaching. You should have a minimum of two years post qualifying experience and will ideally have UK curriculum experience. Previous EAL experience is desirable and as this is a new school, a commitment to contributing to the development of this fantastic new school.
