Are you an experienced special needs teaching assistant? Are you looking for a new school and a new start where you can make a difference? If you answered yes to these questions and you have a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs then this is the role for you.

Randstad Education is currently looking for committed individuals to join a passionate team of staff to support learners as a Learner Support Worker.

You will be working in an independent specialist school that works with learners who have complex learning disabilities. These disabilities include Autism Spectrum Conditions and chromosomal syndromes. You will be joining a highly committed team of staff who help learners achieve outstanding success.

Responsibilities



* Supporting students throughout their school day
* Assisting with outdoor excursions or trips
* Delivering 1:1 or group mini lessons with the help of teacher
* Liaise with teacher to ensure you are aware and familiar with the days lesson plan

Requirements



* An understanding of working with Autism
* Flexibility and commitment are key to this role
* The ability to relate to the learners and establish rapport
* Creativity and positive attitude as no day is ever the same
