Learning and Development Consultant

Marlow

Salary up to £40,000 + Benefits.

The ideal candidate will have:



* Experience working as an Learning and Development Consultant.
* Experience working with technical and/or operational teams (desirable)
* Driven for results, enthusiastic, self-motivated and proactively spots opportunities for positive change.


* Able to confidently explain learning terms and manage sensitive conversations.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve results.
* Experience in helping others to develop and apply a different way of thinking.


* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with different personalities across the business.
* Able to multi task, set own deadlines, prioritise and deliver against them. Is driven to meet targets on time and on budget, whilst maintaining a focus on quality work.

On a day to day basis you will be required to:



* Report directly to the Head of L&D
* Work closely with the recruitment and HR Teams
* Responsible for learning and development across the Technical and Business Operations departments
* Work closely with the Senior Managers in the Technical departments to write and deliver learning and development plans.
* Design training plans and implement thigh quality learning and development training.
* Based on defined performance or talent gaps, perform Training Needs Analysis and identify appropriate development-based solutions.
* Continually assess, develop and improve training content and delivery through regular internal and external bench marking.
* Work closely with the Operations team to manage internal certifications required for key partners and ensure the technical training tracks compliment these requirements.
* Work on training audits for the key manufacturer certifications.
* Be responsible for evolving training content and work on creating a bespoke learning experience that's interactive and unique via an internal training application.
* Have the ability to confidently present ideas and proposals to senior management in these business areas to build a case for L&D needs.
* Work confidently with budgets and effectively measure success of learning investments made.
