This popular Catholic primary school at the heart of the community in Crawley are looking to add an committed and dedicated LSA to their caring KS1 team. This primary school are dedicated to promoting the academic, physical, spiritual and social development of each child by providing a broad and balanced curriculum. The ideal candidate for this role will support the current team in the development of each child's individual talents through encouragement. This school are looking for a flexible member of staff who will contribute to the schools community and align with the values of the Gospel. This role is due to start after February have term until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting small groups in classroom activities
* Ensuring clear communication between teaching staff
* Supporting the teacher with activities outside of the classroom
* Helping the teacher to set up lessons
* Contributing to continued academic and social growth of each child
* Adapting teaching style to ensure it reaches every child

Please note that candidates who do not meet the essential criteria for this role will not be considered.

* Relevant qualifications
* 2 references from the last 5 years (1 must be a full child-based safeguarding reference)
* Experience as a Learning Support Assistant in a UK Primary School

* Knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
* An up-to-date DBS on the update service
* A job history for the last 10 years
