A lovely specialised school located in the Farnham area is looking for a Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about making a difference to children's lives. Working with Autism can be challenging, yet rewarding so you will have to have the resilience to be able to demonstrate your ability to work in this setting. The role is full time on a 5 days per week basis with the option of becoming permanent for the right candidate....

Your role will require:
Liaise with teacher to ensure all learners are supported
Engage with the learners to keep them on task
Assist during break duty, outings and class activities
Deliver 1:1 or small group focused lessons when required
The skills required:
Good maths and English
Previous experience working with Autistic learners is essential
Patience and flexibility to deal with changes
Ability to look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare
