Are you looking for immediate, permanent work? Are you looking to continue a career within the legal industry OR are you looking to start a career within legal - particularly conveyancing?

I am recruiting for two Legal Secretary's or Legal Assistants to join a busy, established law firm in Swindon. I am looking for someone, either with experience in either of these roles, or someone that has an interest in the legal world, has perhaps worked in estate agency with exposure to sales progressing and wants to begin a career in this field. With an ASAP start date, working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (with an hour for lunch), paying between £17,000-£24,000. You must be a competent and accurate administrator, with confidence to speak to clients, in person and on the telephone.

Key responsibilities:
*Typing of legal documents
*General admin support to partner, solicitor, legal executive and/or paralegal.
*Day to day office tasks - including organising diaries, taking enquiries from clients and general admin
*Face to face client liaison
*Maintain client confidentiality
*Taking phone calls and messages - and covering reception when needed
*Filing, faxing, copying, banking duties, letters, franking
*Accurate typing of legal letters
*Occasional networking / off site working

Skills and attributes needed:
*Accuracy
*Computer literate, including Microsoft Excel
*Well presented, smart appearance
*Ability to work as part of a team as well as taking own initiative
*Polite, with a welcoming attitude
*Flexible and adaptable approach towards changing business needs
*Strong communication and listening skills
*Good keyboard skills - touch/audio/copy typing
*Ability to work and keep to strict deadlines
