A logistics organisation based in Great Barr are looking for a new member to join their small yet successful and friendly team as a Logistics Administrator.

ResponsibilitiesWorking as part of the imports teamCommunication with customers, suppliers, HMRC, port authorities and agents from all over the worldOrganise shipping documents, and book in the jobs on specialist IT systemLiaising with customers to coordinate/update on shipmentsObtain quotations from both domestic and overseas suppliers/agentsCustoms clearance entry -Descartes E-CustomsAnswer telephone and Email correspondenceChecking and raising invoice Providing full administrative supportReceiving and sorting incoming documents/emails,Arranging and monitoring/managing shipments/deliveries between different parties involved
Requirements (Essential)Must have experience as a Logistics Admin/Freight Forwarding or similar (preferably import)Customs clearance entry knowledgeExcellent administration and communication skillsIT literate (all Microsoft Applications)GCSE's (or equivalent) Maths & English Ability work as part of a small team Meticulous attention to detail Proven ability to prioritise workload
