Contract: 12-month initial term, which is likely to be extended.
Pay Rate: £16.60 - £18.60 per hour.
Hours: 07:00-15:30 (Monday-Thursday) and 07:00-12:30 (Friday).
Benefits: 35 days holiday.
What You'll Do
As a Logistics Analyst, you will perform both operational and tactical work, reporting to the Material Requirements planning supervisor.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Improving inbound and outbound material flow and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Investigating and resolving material scheduling and transportation issues.
Managing inventory levels and monitoring supplier delivery schedules and performance.
Resolving invoice and inventory discrepancies.
Developing insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI for material planning analysis.
Creating Power Apps solutions to automate and streamline processes.
Using advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, complex formulas, and macro automation) to deliver accurate insights.
Utilising SAP for material planning and inventory management.
Leading small to medium projects by applying Lean and Six Sigma principles.
The ideal candidate will have experience of:
Previous material planning experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Expertise in Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, and visualisation.
Proficiency in Power Apps and the MS Office Suite.
Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, complex lookup formulas, conditional formatting, data validation, and macro automation).
Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred).
Project management experience.
The ideal candidate will also demonstrate:
A college or university degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or Industrial Engineering.
SAP experience.
APICS CPIM or CSPC National Certification.
