A college near Farnborough are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support and Care Assistant. You will be supporting young people with learning difficulties to find the independence, confidence, social and life skills they will need for their future. This role gives you the opportunity to build strong and positive relationships with amazing young people and work outside whilst you do so!

Your responsibilities will include:
-Physically supporting learner, pushing wheelchairs, working with animals and working outside in all weathers
-Supporting learners with managing behaviour and accessing the curriculum
-Ensuring accurate student records are maintained
-Helping to build students' confidence and motivation
-Acting as a liaison between tutor and student

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
-Significant experience working with young people or adults with a range of learning difficulties
-GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
-Be able to adapt to a range of working environments and different learning abilities
-Be self-motivated and have the ability to work as part of a team
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-Ability and willingness to travel between sites and elsewhere on a regular basis
-Have an understanding of health and safety implications
