Shift Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Improver - (Days & Nights) - Corporate Office - London (City) - Up to £17.00 per hour / Up to £35,000

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated in London. My client is looking for two Shift Maintenance Electricians to be based in a critical / commercial building in London (City / Cannon Street). The successful candidates will be electrically biased (Electrical improver) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance, ideally within a critical site (i.e. Bank, Data centre, Blue chip office etc). This is a temporary to permanent position, which pays an hourly rate up to £17.00 per hour or up to £35,000 a year.

Working with the maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance to the following;

* Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution)
* Emergency lighting Tests
* Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
* Chillers - Re-set
* Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
* BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
* UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings

Hours of work

Continental Shift Pattern (Days & Nights) - 07:00am to 19:00pm to 19:00pm to 07:00am


* Electrical - City & Guild or equivalent
* A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
* Immediately available
* Multi-skilled
* Good communication skills

Highly desirable (Not essential)

* Experience working in a blue chip commercial office, bank or data centre
* Previous experience working as an electrical Improver
* Previous experience working days & night shift
