Randstad CPE are looking for hard working, reliable Maintenance Joiners to work with one of their clients on a long term basis.

If you are an experienced and committed joiner with a high work standard, this could be the job for you!

Responsibilities:



* The post holder will have the required maintenance skills to ensure the safe and continuous operation of the internal and external fabric. Working within the fabric team and reporting to the fabric supervisor and fabric manager.
* The main elements being the maintenance of both, building fabric and services e.g. external and internal finishes, fittings and fixtures.
* Keeping Records of all aforementioned activities as per all Health Technical Memoranda and Quality Assurance Requirements and to provide professional advice and guidance on all aspects of building services maintenance and repair.

Qualifications:



* SVQ Carpentry & Joinery
* Experience in commercial contracts
* Good H&S knowledge
* Required qualifications are an appropriately recognised C&G, Scotvec (SVQ3), or equivalent in joinery.

Main responsibilities:



* Work Overtime to carry out emergency repairs as required.
* Undertake essential repair works and general maintenance activities at the request of the Fabric Supervisor.
* To liaise with Fabric Supervisor and Fabric Manager regarding request the supply of goods and/or services as necessary.
* Using cause effect analysis and detailed examination to gain a solution and use all relevant drawings and schematics.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance inspections in accordance with published procedures.
* Complete all report sheets and test certificates as necessary and mark up any drawing alterations.
* Complete all Task/Risk Assessment sheets relating to work.
* Use all of relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works ensuring full compliance with Engie Guidelines and Controls e.g. Risk Assessment, Site Safety, Fire Safety, Control of Infection and Hazardous Substances.
* Have an understanding relationship of other craftsmen's work to his own.
* Obligation to undertake training where necessary to learn new techniques.
* Understand fully the inter-relationship between the various maintenance crafts
* Carry out any other task as requested/required by supervisor, managers.
* Carry out planned and preventative maintenance

For this position, a pre-held PVG Disclosure, or any other form of disclosure, is preferred but not necessary. Candidates will be subject to a clearance check due to the location.
