Job: Maintenance and Engineering Supervisor. Brighton

I am working with a well known NHS Trust who have a HQ based in Brighton, East Sussex. The well established Estates team have a new requirement for an estates and maintenance professional to join them in a permanent capacity. As maintenance and engineering supervisor you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the engineering team, liaising with in house technicians and external contractors.

It is imperative that you have previous experience in managing risk and can demonstrate a sound understanding of compliance regulations and procedures related to engineering.

Duties will include:

Planning and co-ordination of planned and reactive maintenance work and minor project activities of maintenance staff and contractors.

Daily management of the computerised Maintenance Management System to ensure that jobs have been completed to a satisfactory standard.

Responsible for the maintenance of centralised register of insurance and other statutory inspections.

Responsible for issuing Permits to Work and to be an Authorised Person for appropriate engineering services and manage work associated with those services.
