Job title: Management Trainee   
Location: Southampton, Stoke, Swansea
Salary: £22k (+up to £30k OTE)
REF: J3722:

Sector: Oil and fuel

Our client supply oil products to all manner of industries, including domestic, agricultural, commercial and retail. They’re offering a Management Trainee position to candidates displaying the right tenacity, talent and dedication to hard work.

The day to day responsibilities of the role will be focused on developing new business relationships, however you’ll have the chance to learn all aspects of the business throughout your time in the role.

The key responsibilities you’ll have in this role are:
  • Driving commercial sales for the business
  • Handling customer enquiries effectively from a diverse customer base (domestic, agricultural, industrial and commercial)
  • Negotiating with customers to ensure depot and personal targets are achieved
  • Initiating calls to new and lapsed customers to establish requirements, obtain orders and become their preferred fuel supplier
  • Developing a rapport and long term relationships with key accounts
  • Be confident in face-to-face meetings at customer’s premises
  • Managing customer records and diary effectively
  • Growing the volume and profit of the business through personal success
