Randstad are currently recruiting for a Managing Quantity Surveyor in the Avonmouth area. Working directly with the client, they are aiming to recruit someone to sufficiently work on this Highways project whilst ensuring economic efficiency. The role itself is the M49 Avonmouth's new junction, a flagship project for the client.

This large national company is a leader in construction, with their highways division being the largest in their infrastructure entity. They are aiming to recruit a dynamic and innovative Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead this project and operate as the commercial lead for the scheme. In this role you must take commercial responsibility whilst promoting and driving continuous improvement amongst your team.

Key duties include, but are not limited to, maintaining relations with clients, ensuring commercial requirements are met and training subordinates. A successful candidate will have coherent communication skills and be able to take initiative.

In terms of qualifications, you must have;



* Quantity Surveying related degree
* Background including civil engineering
* Knowledge of Highways
* Ability to work on a National level
