A unique opportunity has arisen for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a main contractor based in West Lothian.

The main contractor deliver projects across education, commercial, retail and leisure to name a few, and have a variety of clients, including repeat business. The company focus on profit, rather than turnover, and remained steady and in profit during the recession.

The role will be of a Managing QS, reporting directly into the Managing Director. You will be expected to manage a team of 5 QS as well as be commercially responsible for 2-3 projects. The role offers huge opportunity to develop your career, and in time step into a Director role.

The ideal candidate will be working as a Managing QS or as a Senior QS, managing 1-2 QS. Experience of managing QS is essential. Experience working for a main contractor is desirable. Experience working for a build contractor is a necessity.
