Randstad are recruiting an experienced manufacturing planning manager for a global client, to lead the Customer services, Inventory, Planning and Fulfilment function. This role manages the design, planning and schedule adherence of all operational, inventory and logistical resources to meet customer demands on time in full in the most cost-effective manner given the planned operational and supply capacities.

Ideally educated to degree level or equivalentProficient IT skills with experience in using Microsoft Excel to at least intermediate levelExperience in gathering, collating and analysing large amounts of dataHMTL/SQL experience would be desirableHighly developed influencing and diplomatic skills and a strong team worker

Lead raw material supplier relationship management to ensure its execution maximises sales and customer service, whilst maintaining effective control over working capital. Responsible for inventory management process to help deliver a robust supply chain Managing stock inventory Responsible for sales, operations & transport planning to maintain an effective customer service and efficient use of resourcesLead the Ireland planning and fulfilment model to deliver where appropriate an inventory design approach or a customer demand driven resource planLead the analytical review of customer demand schedule adherence, supporting the commercial function to optimise their customer relationship management.Support key account reviews targeting areas of opportunity and enhancement of the agreed service levels.Lead the weekly business process of manufacturing and logistics campaign planningA business lead for the development and implementation of e-commerce Line Management responsibility for 6 direct reports - to motivate, train and develop the customer services, inventory, planning & fulfilment team, managing performance to maintain an effective workforce capable of meeting its current and projected targets & strategiesLead representative for the Customer services in weekly and monthly review meetings. Monitoring performance through scorecards and KPI's to continuously improve and support volume opportunities for the business.Actively manage and drive continuous improvements to maximise customer service levels and quality performance.Key link between Sales and Operations to deliver annual plan.
