Are you an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer? Are you looking to take on a new challenge with a Medical Devices Manufacturer? If so we are looking for individuals just like you!

We have an opportunity for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join a leading client of ours. This is a contract opportunity for 6 months initially, working 37 hours per week Mon-Fri.

Responsibilities;



* Lead small scale manufacturing and laboratory technical projects
* Support manufacturing projects as per company strategy
* Conduct investigations and execute project actions as part of the CAPA process
* Support execution of annual stability programme.
* Write protocols and reports for studies
* Co-ordinate own week to week workload in line with your project plans and departmental priorities and overall business framework. Collate resource hours.
* Adhere to the Change Control and Design Control requirements
* Support commercial enquiries
* Ensures that all activities are carried out in compliance with all regulations and laws governing business and quality operations
* Responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, national, international and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.
* Scientific knowledge or manufacturing engineering knowledge and experience
* Responsible for applying effective problem solving techniques and tools to resolve product performance issues.
* To promote and improve technical knowledge and support in meeting the strategic needs of the business

Education/Experience/Attributes;



* Degree qualified - ideally science
* Minimum 2 years experience of working in a manufacturing engineering or laboratory
* Experience in manufacturing support or engineering projects.
* Some previous experience in medical device or related regulated industry (desirable but not essential)
* Previous experience of project management and leading of small projects
* Good communication skills
* Able to deal with constantly changing requirements and priorities
* Ability to work as a team
* Manage your own time and workload
* Excellent organisational and project management skills

Specific Technical Skills



* Scientific or engineering background
* To have the ability of numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning and to be PC literate
* Strong project management and problem solving skills
* A good knowledge of design control and change control
* Working knowledge and experience in the application of Lean / process excellence methodology for problem solving.
