Are you a Manufacturing Project or Design Engineer looking for a life changing new opportunity?

This major Engineering company is looking for a new ambitious worker to join their team.

Vacancy Description

* Good teamwork skills with an ability to perform as a flexible team member with a clear focus on achieving objectives.

* Good project management skills with the ability to manage time and communicate with Global Design Centres.

* Flexible attitude to work and be able to adapt quickly to change.

* Knowledge and experience of design/manufacture for high volume manufacturing techniques such as injection moulding, metal pressing, die casting and sintered components.

* The ability to investigate, understand and solve design related problems.

* The ability to act as a key interface between R&D and Manufacturing.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels in the organisation.

* Good presentation skills.

* The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines.

* A self-starter/proactive with the ability to work with the minimum of supervision.

Candidates must have / be

* Experience of using a modern 3D CAD system, ideally Catia v5

* Strong mechanical aptitude with an ability to be "hands on" when required.

* Able and willing to travel nationally and internationally.

* Cost reduction/value analysis skills

* DFM/DFA

* Boothroyd Dewhurst method use

* Change note system:- Change Management
