My clients are public sector organisation who specialise in private security and are looking for a Communication Manager to join them for a 12 month fixed term contract. They are looking for someone to join their communication team who is ready to hit the ground running. They are looking for someone to research, develop, drive and implement integrated marketing and communicationsstrategies/ plans across the organiizaztion.* You will need research, develop, drive and implement integrated marketing and communications strategies/ plans across the organisation to considering resources, integrating solutions, managing budgets, risks and evaluation, in line with the overall corporate communications strategy.* To provide a full range of specialist communications to colleagues across the organisation from strategic planning to execution. To include: identifying measurablecommunications objectives, defining target audiences, advising upon the mostappropriate channels, setting evaluation methods and contributing to widerstrategies.* Generate proactive media coverage, by writing press releases and thoughtleadership materials, including feature articles letters to editors and blog posts.* Build productive relationships with general and trade journalists, bloggers andonline influencers.* Ensure that all written content is clear, consistent and supports corporate keymessages.* Organise and deliver stakeholder events, analysing feedback, report on findings.* Develop and manage the timely design, production and distribution ofpublications, technical documents and all other publicity materials which meet theneeds of stakeholders and are compliant with government guidelines.* Ensure the most appropriate and cost effective channels mix and maximise thepotential of digital channels in developing plans, resources and budgets.* To work closely with other colleagues in the external communication team toensure a joined up approach to the management of issues and the delivery of thecorporate communications strategy.* Recognise credible information sources, emerging issues, trends and encourageideas and input to feed into and enhance communication activities.* Demonstrate strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills to ensure theproduction of clear, accurate, and trusted copy, reports, and briefs.* Communicate in a succinct and engaging manner, using appropriate styles,methods and timing to maximise understanding and impact.* Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested from time to time, within thejob-holder's capabilities.Relevant Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceEssential* Excellent writing skills and the ability to produce compelling media products suchas key messages/speaking points, Q&A's and feature articles.* Experience of planning and delivering integrated marketing communicationstrategies or plans using both traditional and innovative techniques* Ability to take communications briefs and establish communications requirementsand recommend communication solutions.* Ability to translate complex information and translate in to clear and accessiblecommunications.* Experience in handling media enquiries* Demonstrable experience of devising messaging and call to actions, which engagewith stakeholders and are effective in their execution.* Experience of implementing and managing marketing strategies - covering theentire communication mix. Maximise the potential of digital and low-cost channelsin developing plans, resources and budgets.* Experience in handling the design and production of publicity materials such asbooklets, leaflets, reports and promotional items.* Demonstrable experience of organising and managing events such as;conferences, workshops, seminars.
