Marketing Executive


Manchester City Centre (must be open to travel)

A Marketing executive is required to join an incredible Global IT reseller in Manchester City centre.

This role will involve frequent travel and will be client facing so will be best suited to a commercially minded, out going character that can…

* Support the planning, execution and measurement of a wide range of marketing activities to maximise opportunities for enhanced Market Development Funds (MDF) investment, as well as positive ROMI.
* Work with the companies Partner Management Team, Sales Teams, Partner Account Managers and the wider Marketing Team to deliver successful and timely marketing activity to increase revenue and MDF objectives.
* Develop relationships within the partner and sales community which will also require the flexibility to attend partner conferences, run events and meetings across the UK as needed.
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of assigned Partner MDF schemes and criteria for securing investment claims
* Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to achieve maximum levels of MDF funding
* Create and execute quarterly partner marketing plans across the full marketing mix
* Support marketing and partner management initiatives to deliver incremental funding opportunities for partners
* Work with the Marketing coordinator to ensure all MDF claims have required Proof of Executions, Proof of Cost and Proof of Performance, and that the claims are submitted in a timely manner, ahead of partner deadlines to ensure zero exposure to the business
* Provide full marketing support to sales and partner teams, both internally and externally
* Proactively manage and ensure an understanding of assigned partner MDF forecasting, cost forecasting and claiming process, including deadlines and risk management
* Regular partner management and partner account management engagement with marketing activity updates including ROMI measurement.
* Develop a commercial understanding of MDF investment and business plans, by working closely with the partner manager for each partner.
* Close working relationship with the Deal Reg team to ensure all opportunities logged are associated to partner marketing campaigns, which will then help with ROMI metrics and further MDF investment.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Degree Level in marketing or business discipline
* Minimum 12 months marketing experience, preferably in B2B or business services sector
* Demonstrable examples of delivering marketing projects within deadlines
* Professional attitude, building relationships with internal & external stakeholders
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads in order to deliver to target and deadlines
* Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Powerpoint, Adobe Cloud / Creative suite
* Planning and multi-tasking as the marketing executive will need to manage several projects & stakeholders at the same time.
* Experience of content writing and proof reading skills
* Experience within the IT channel with partners such as HPE, NetApp, Dell
* Experience of CRM tools, Email applications and Marketing Automation platforms
* Working knowledge of html
* Working knowledge of databases including MS Access and other business intelligence tools
* Digital Marketing Experience
* Events Management
