They have recently established a managed-service operation with a major hospital in central London and need an experienced person to support their team by managing the data which underpins their supply function. Hours of work:



* Monday to Friday 09:00AM - 17:00PM

Responsibilities:

This role is to manage the master data function for a busy department that provides a wide range of equipment to surgical teams at a large hospital in Central London. You will be responsible for managing 100 vendors, 4000 products and the associated pricing. This role is based at modern offices in Wokingham but will also involve travel to Central London once or twice a week to complete stock checks and deal with suppliers' representatives - travel expenses between sites will be covered.



* Being an effective member of the managed service company providing services and solutions to NHS customers.
* Creating new vendors, products and prices on the system.
* Receipt goods into the warehouse and physically checking stock levels.
* Deliver the efficient and effective operation of managed services within a hospital environment and ensure procedures are in place to respond to potential disruptions to the operation of the service.
* Producing system reports and performance monitoring as required by management.
* Ensure adherence to any policies arising from patient confidentiality, Data Protection, Freedom of Information or other local or national policies.
* Depending on your experience, there will be opportunities to get more involved in other related aspects such as supply chain management, procurement, implementation and consignment management.

Requirements:



* Advanced Excel skills (knowledge of formulas, V-look-ups, pivot tables etc.)
* Experience of working in supply chain or logistics or inventory management would be beneficial, but is not essential.
* Good communication and teamwork skills to quickly establish trust and credibility with healthcare practitioners.
* Experience of working within the NHS or similar organisation would be useful.
* Excellent social style and behavioural skills are essential as you will be representing a professional supply chain partner.
* Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills are required.
* Work as part of the managed-service supply chain team to ensure all tasks are completed and targets are met on a daily basis.
* Competency working with Microsoft Office applications, along with strong mathematical skills.
