job description

My client an award winning 5 star housing developer are keen to appoint an experience Materials Controller to join their existing team based in Essex

This is an ideal opportunity for a methodical and numerate individual who is able to work well within the construction industry.



* Looking at drawings and working with the Management team to schedule and call off materials required on site
* Daily use of bespoke in-house software package to manage material levels
* Arranging the hiring and maintenance of plant and machinery
* Planning the logistics of moving materials around site
* Waste Management planning, liaising with external contractors
* Managing stores, including stock takes and quality checks on deliveries
* Supporting the Site Management team by coordinating sub contractors and snagging properties when required.
* To be considered for the role you must be IT Literate, have a desire to work as part of the Site Management team, have good building product knowledge that you would have gained working for a contractor, developer or builders merchants.
