Mechanical Design Engineer - Water

Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a MEICA contractor on a major water treatment project.

Location: Midsomer Norton

Contract type: Permanent

Start date: ASAP

Salary: £40k-£50k


The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will be: -



* Responsible for the production and coordination of outline and detailed design within the water industry
* Providing engineering calculations and solutions from inception to completion
* Attending internal and external design review meetings as the Mechanical Design Engineer
* Ensuring all design work is completed to agreed programmes, financial budgets and to a high quality
* Coordinating design production between internal and external design teams where applicable
* Ensuring designs are approved in accordance with clients time-scales

Essential: -



* Experience in using AutoCAD Plant 3D
* Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant subject
* Experience in water industry and preferably previous experience in the design of water / wastewater treatment plants and water / wastewater networks.
