Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Plumber - Tourist Attraction - SW London (Kensington) - Temp to Perm - £15.00 per hour / Up to £32,000

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated in London. I am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Plumber to work with a small maintenance team based in a large tourist attraction located in London (Kensington)

The successful candidate will be mechanically / plumbing biased with C&G/NVQ or equivalent and a proven track record in building maintenance working on the following: Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings, Water treatment, BMS systems, Air Conditioning (AHU/FCU), plumbing and general fabric.

He or she will carry out all planned and reactive maintenance on site, including dealing directly with the client and sub contractors. This role initially starts on a temporary basis with a view to being offered the permanent position on site (After passing a probation period) The hourly rate of £15.00 per hour and the permanent position pays up to £32,000 based on experience and performance.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday - 07:00am to 16:00pm & 08:00am to 17:00pm (40 hour week)
Overtime available

Requirements



* Mechanically or Plumbing qualified (NVQ, Apprenticeship or equivalent)
* A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
* Immediately available
* Multi-skilled
* Good communication skills
* Able to start immediately or at short notice
