Mechanical Estimating Manager

The M&E market is growing & developing and my clients are in urgent need of estimators. I am currently working on behalf of a leading M&E contractor who specialise in small work projects, typically the commercial fit out sector with values between £2 million -£3 million.

You will be working for a leading M&E contractor, arguably one of the busiest at present who currently have a turnover of around £40 millions with the aim to continue growing in the nearby future. They are based in East/Central London, with projects tending to be in zones 1-3.

Ideally my client is looking for an experienced mechanical estimator who has between 7-10 years experience working on tenders up to £5 million.

* Submission of Mechanical Tenders
* Ensuring all deadlines are met
* Liaising with clients & contractors
* Variations
* Procurement
* Finalise tender bids
* Secure contracts
* Handovers
* Understand and scrutinise Sub-Contractor quotations

* Measuring and take offs for materials and labour
