Mechanical Estimator

Are you a tenacious and driven Mechanical Estimator looking to progress your career with an award winning M&E Contractor?

Experienced Producing competitive tenders to win Commercial and Retail projects?

My client are a specialist business unit within an overall group turning over £120 million per year; and they are looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their growing team as they look to increase growth within the Commercial and Retail fit-out sectors.

You will work within an established commercial team alongside Project / Contracts Managers to competitively tender for new business, and will also be expected to work independently to increase business growth.

You will be expected to (but not limited to):

* Take offs
* Attend pre-tender meetings
* Review tenders
* Liaise with the Procurement team
* Engage with Sub-contractors / suppliers to attain best prices
* Work with Project Managers to ensure projects are profitable
* Create imaginative engineering solutions to maximise profitability
