Mechanical Maintenance Engineer- Up to £17ph - Central London- Immediate start

A market leading heavy manufacturer is recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their large maintenance team in a high-end commercial complex within the Cenrtral London region. In return for working on a temporary basis you will be offered an hourly rate up to £17ph. You will be apprentice trained (or equivalent, NVQ, C&G) with a strong background in Commercial Maintenance.


As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining the following:



* Problem analysis and continuous improvements
* Flexibility
* Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing
* AHUs/FCUs - filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans
* Pumps - PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)
* Motors - PPMs (re-winds, overhauls)

Hours:

Monday-Friday: 7-4pm/10-7pm

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role requires candidates with experience / skills / background in:



* Apprentice trained or equivalent (NVQ L3, C&G L3)
* Available Immediately
* Ideally Experienced within a heavy engineering environment
* Has a strong background in commercial maintenance
* Good communication skills
* Strong team player
* Pro-active approach to maintenance
