Mechanical Project Engineer

Location: Maidstone (Covering Home Counties and London)

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Are you a Mechanical Supervisor looking for the next step? Or are you a Mechanical Project Engineer, wanting a change with the view of becoming a Mechanical Project Manager?

Mechanical Project Engineer required for well established Mechanical Contractor to assist the Mechanical Project Manager with the successful planning, executing, monitoring control and closure of projects.

Duties include:



* Organise progress meetings with clients, sub contractors and specialist sub. Contractors for on site co-ordination works.
* Oversee / resolve design & construction issues on site.
* Involvement with the tender.
* Project managed daily activities on site.
* Preparing time programmes.
* Procurement of materials and sub contractors.
* Manage employees, sub contractors and agency labour.
* Writing of risk assessments and Method statements.
* Assist with commissioning.

Ideally you will come from an M&E sub contractual background within similar sectors and



* Be computer literate
* A good communicator with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors
* Be organised and structured
* Site supervisor experience
