Are you an experienced Programme Manager who has expert medics knowledge? Are you familiar with leading implementation teams and liaising with senior stakeholders within a medical division? Do you love to manage multiple clients and travel for work?

Role Summary:

* The Programme Manager is ultimately responsible for the successful implementation of customer projects and engagements involving the Allocate product portfolio, where a programme approach is required.
* Where clients have bought multiple products requiring implementation or delivery, you will oversee Allocate's engagement at a programme level, ensuring that an integrated coherent approach is taken, giving the client continuity of engagement and a single point of escalation.
* Leading a services team of Project Managers and Implementation Consultants and other specialist resources as required, the Programme Manager will have full responsibility for building and maintaining client relationships during Services Engagements and ensuring successful project delivery in terms of a quality outcome for the client and internal financial management.


Services Integration:

* Implement a programme of education and training for Services staff working on the Allocate product portfolio, so that all staff are capable of working with different products
* Provide an end to end solution continuous engagement with clients making for a more seamless implementation
* Own implementation of products from point of sale through to final handover
* Ensure that project documentation is created and maintained to sufficient standard in line with UK Services Team requirements
* Ensure that risks and issues are actively managed and form a point of escalation as required, only to Services Director only in the most serious cases

Client Satisfaction:

* Ensure the delivery of all professional services engagements on time and to budget;
* Ensure formal signoff and handover to client is completed at the completion of each project where required;
* Work in conjunction with the Allocate Sales team to ensure the correct implementation expectations are set during the pre-sales activities;
* Ensure correct and qualified Allocate resources are available and assigned to the customers projects;
* Aim to achieve an excellent client reference from every client programme.


* Set clear and effective goals and objectives for direct reports;
* Direct, motivate and lead staff to produce excellent results in all aspects of project delivery;
* Listen to issues raised by staff and take correct and effective actions to resolve;
* Make staff feel valued and key members of an efficient and effective Services Team;
* Inspire staff with the confidence and support to undertake tasks with minimum supervision;
* Provide direct line management of allocated consultants including performance management, appraisals, development plans, supervision, holiday bookings and timesheet approval;
* Working with the UK Services Director, recruit, manage and retain the best talent in the services delivery team;
* Provide project performance feedback to all personnel assigned as appropriate;
* Provide constructive input and recommendations to annual performance and salary review activities for all staff working within the Programme Manager's remit.

Project Profitability & Commercial Management:

* Manage all projects to ensure that each project conforms to the agreed duration, day rates and % Margin;
* Confirm that all the required contractual documents are signed and in place prior to commencing project delivery;
* Update programme plans and reporting pack information on a weekly basis;
* Ensure staff enter all time and expenses in accordance with the time & expenses policy on a weekly basis;
* Review and approve/reject all time and expenses for the regional projects in a timely manner;
* Review weekly utilisation reports ensuring staff are achieving their defined utilisation targets, taking corrective actions as required;
* Provide regular weekly updates on revenue and utilisation performance for the team members within the Programme Manager's remit

Qualifications/Experience Required:

* Strong and accomplished customer facing skills and experience;
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in leading a services or project organisation specialising in systems implementation for multiple concurrent clients;
* A full understanding and previous experience of managing project profitability;
* Experience of working in conjunction with Sales Account Managers;
* A proven track record in commercial management (including full P&L responsibility) for team of consulting resources;
* Experience presenting both to large groups and senior staff/executives
* Verbal & written communication skills;
* Microsoft Office (including Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project);


* Ability to lead a small team
* Able to inspire and enthuse others
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong people management skills;
* Ability to cope under pressure
* Able to handle difficult situations, both internally and client facing
* Acts as a role model for less senior/newer members of staff
