MEICA Design Engineer
MEICA Design Engineer required for highly respected and diverse engineering water business. The business are looking for someone that can buy into the company ethos of striving to achieve more and progressing the company and team to the next level.
Duties include:-Assisting the MEICA design team reporting into the design lead. You will be involved in writing proposals for new work.Experience of working in multidisciplineTo contribute to co-operative working across disciplines in accordance with the company's procedures, and contribute to multi-disciplinary project teams.Carrying out design calculations.Developed engineering specifications and schedules.Coordinate and liaise with site supervisors regarding the installation process.Maintain an interest in costing and the tendering of additional works.You will be involved in a variety of projects with a view to optimising and reducing the energy consumption at a site.Review of existing design of all electrical system.Development of conceptual design.The production of engineering design and detail in accordance with the Supplier's quality management system.Prepare estimates for the implementation of electrical services. Carry out site surveys to identify the Clients needs and requirements making recommendations as necessary.Produce and develop designs for mechanical services. Ensure that designs meet user requirements, cost limits and time scales.Contribute to the preparation of Health and Safety method statements and risk assessments in respect of construction work as required by the project to meet current legislation.
