We are looking for a mental health nurse who is passionate and dedicated to take on a role working in a CAMHS crisis team based in Carlisle.This role would involve you playing a vital part in the care of a young person who is in a state of crisis due to difficulties in their mental health. You would be required to help insure the children and young people receive the best quality care they deserve whilst in a state of crisis, whilst also implementing the correct after treatment by creating a suitable care plan.Day to day tasks in this role would include: supporting services, providing risk assessments, creating care plans and making referrals. The ideal candidate would be a band 6 with experience in working with children and young people.This role is to cover a vacancy within the team and is expected to run for at least 3-4 months, with possibility of extension. This role is to work between 30-37.5hrs per week over 4-5 days (Monday to Friday) there is the option to work shifts on a more flexible basis.
