Duties & Responsibilities:Diagnose and resolve workstation Hardware issues, Identify Hardware failures, Initiate part replacement request with Vendor, co-ordinate and replaceDiagnose and resolve OS or business application issuesInstall, Move, Add, Change and re-installation of Desktops and PrintersInstall and configure Hardware and Software (via SOPs from OEMs or Application teams) where provider's onsite service is being delivered Rebuild workstation images where provider's onsite service is being delivered and make sure all required applications are installedPerform basic Investigation on Application / Infrastructure performance incidents and collect required data for troubleshooting. Work with technical support team and provide required onsite support Provide support for software configuration and core applications of Desktops/LaptopsTroubleshoot LAN, such as wireless connectivity and LAN cable, verify IP address allocation and connectivityCoordinate with third party /warranty providers for repair or replacementRepair of hardware failures via coordination with Vendor if under warrantyReceive hardware, unpack, verify order completeness and assemble the system components. Ensure service availability and report system healthCo-ordinate with Offshore team to update the New Asset and End User information in the CMDB systemMaintain Server/Network/Laptop spare and keep the Asset updated for dedicated onsite services sites Provide hands & feet support for all the hardware under vendor supportEnsure all SOPS (standard operating procedures) are available to onsite personnelHandle L1 Helpdesk escalated incidents and service requestsDevice decommissioning as part of life-cycle management or employee exit processSupport other IT areas of the infrastructure that is in the office
