Mimecast Sales Specialist
£50,000 + £20,000 bonus (NET NEW Logo's)
London

An award-winning global IT reseller is looking for a MimeCast sales Specialist to join their team.
As the successful Mimecast Sales Specialist you will be seen as a go-to person and advisor who provides sales support for both Account Managers and Customers.

You main responsibilities will be:



* Being the subject matter expert for all Mimecast Solutions
* Identify and drive up-sell/additional product opportunities.
* Identify products for net-new and expand the business.
* Identify new sales prospects within the existing customer base, work with the Account Teams to qualify opportunities, and prioritise activities.
* Work with the Software Team on all New, Upsell and renewal of Mimecast opportunities based on trade data
* Work with the other sales teams to develop a sales plan for their customers
* Control the sales process and drive leads to closure - generate new revenues.
* Drive sales campaigns into target prospect base, working with the Sales, Partner and Marketing teams.
* Develop relationships with the Mimecast Sales teams in the UK
* Promote Mimecast campaigns, events, promotions across sales
* Develop deep understanding of product capabilities and value proposition and be able to present to customers and prospects in a highly effective manner.
* Forecast revenue and products plus update sales activity to management.
* Negotiation of sales transactions.
* Achieve certifications in Mimecast Sales/Pre Sales Competency
* Attend all Mimecast partner events, training
* Work with MS team to develop opportunities
* Work in connection with the Software team to maximise sales
* Execute against the SW FY19 Business Plan for net new growth campaigns
* Execute against the SW FY19 Business Plan for upsell campaign
* Regularly report back to the business against defined targets to measure impact and success



The ideal candidate will have the following qualities



* Able to work in a team
* A background in security/IT - ideally Mimecast
* Experience of selling on the phone and face to face to prospects and customers.
* Communication skills
* Presentation skills
* Be commercially aware with high levels of attention to detail to maximize profitability with Mimecast
* Target driven


This is a fantastic role within a thriving organisation, where you too could also thrive financially and professionally. You will be based out of the London office and will need to be in the office in order to be able to work collaboratively with the other consultants and maximise profit.

The working hours are 9-5.30 Monday to Thursday and 9-5 Friday.
