MOBILE FABRIC ENGINEER REQUIRED IN NORTH EAST SURREY!Our multinational Facilities Management client is seeking a Mobile Fabric Technician!This is a great opportunity not only if you are looking for great exposure also if you are looking for a permanent opportunity!GENERAL OVERVIEWInspect/repair floor, walls, ceilings and roofsInspect /repair free standing and fitted furnitureInspect/clear drainage and gully systemsInspect/replace luminariesInspect/repair doors (Inc. Fire Doors), windows and associated furniture.Painting, re-decorating and hanging of pictures/signed/noticesAssist engineering staff in a wide range of duties as requiredGeneral site services; to include, sweeping and tidyingINFORMATIONMonday - Friday8am - 5pm£13.45 - £16.35 per hour + weekly pay32 days holidayArrange and provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice and be flexible in their working patternsUndertake lone working when and where required, subject to passing satisfactory trainingVan and fuel card providedREQUIREMENTSA Fabric Technician qualified to at least one of the below (NVQ or similar in):PlumbingCarpentryPainting and DecoratingDemonstrable experience in either carpentry, painting, plumbing or flooring in a construction, repair or maintenance environment. Good knowledge of Fire Door maintenance and inspection techniques.Understanding of Legionella control techniques e.g. tap flushingExcellent problem-solving skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsDue to the nature of the environment it is essential that you have the ability to pass the standard security vetting process.
