Model Maker required on a contract basis to join an industry leading motorsport business.

You will play a key role in assembly of the scale models and fitting and testing of high quality components to tight deadlines.
Key responsibilities:
You will be accountable for working in the model shop, preparing and pre-fitting parts andassemblies. You will work with the model shop, designers and aerodynamicists' s to develop the scale models and working practices to assist in the development of the F1 car. You will be attending wind tunnel tests and performing changes in the wind tunnel on the model under direction of the Aerodynamicist.In this role it will be essential to create effective professional relationship and goodcommunication with the whole department and ensure the constant improvement. As well as you will be expected to carry out all task to the exacting standards within tight deadlines.Experience required:
You MUST have previous Model making experience or very similar experience. Sound engineering background / understandingAutomotive and engineering experience ideally in F1 / racing environmentExperience of wind tunnel testing would be an advantage, but training and support willbe providedHigh attention to detail, accuracy and precision in tight deadlines.Knowledge in using computer and main software (Microsoft Office Suite)Passion and enthusiastic approach to working Initiative and Innovation, with a can do attitudeYou'll be self-motivated, able to work under tight deadlines and have a good eye for quality.
