Music Specialist required for September to work in an Ofsted "Outstanding" school location in the heart of Leeds, full time contract only. This school is currently recruiting for enthusiastic and motivated individuals eager to make an impact on the learning lives of young individuals. Candidates will be required to teach up to Key Stage 5 and will have ideally been teaching GCSE in their last role. The School will offer excellent support within the department and a very strong CPD programme. In return the School are looking for a committed member of staff who will fit into a team orientated department.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or NQT to join and Outstanding School and bring their skills and creativity to life. The role of a music teacher will be to -
-Developing and maintaining the highest standards of teaching and learning in Music.
-Working with the Head teacher, shape and implement a vision and direction for the School.
-Setting high expectations and with a clear focus on teaching and learning leading to student achievement.
-Working with the Head teacher, lead and implement all aspects of policy and practice in homework provision across the School.
-Be able to teach history from KS3-KS5.
-Contribute to developing and implementing the aims and objectives for the School
- Be a good role model for all members of staff and for students in all aspects of areas within the academic environment.
