Are you looking for part time work but have other priorities and commitments? Do you have a strong childcare background and are looking for work? We are looking for a part time or full time nursery nurse to work within our nurseries in Trafford. Working on agency is an excellent opportunity for anyone who wants to work but is at university or has childcare commitments. This is an excellent opportunity for you to put your knowledge of the EYFS framework and your safeguarding knowledge to good practice. What you will be expected to do whilst working in a nursery.
* Day to day care of children within the setting
* Ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to
* Observation and planning in accordance with the EYFS
* Providing termly progress reports to parents/ carers
* Development of trusting relationship with parents /carers to support the developmental needs of 'key children'
* Safeguarding of children
* Providing and engaging children in stimulating play activities
* Assisting with tidying up and setting up rooms for the following day
* Assisting with breakfast and lunch cover.
* Being aware of all safe guarding issues and risks within the nursery.
* To plan activities in accordance to the EYFS and to ensure all children are hitting the correct milestones.
* Minimum of 6 months experience working in a childcare setting. This is usually a school or a nursery.
* Ability to communicate effectively with team members and parents/ carers
* The ability to work alone or in a team to get the task done.
* Preferably a level 3 qualification in Early years.
* A DBS or the willingness to conduct a new one for safeguarding purposes.
* A reference that proves your childcare experience.

If this sounds like the role for you, you must have at least 6 months experience and have a valid reference to prove this. You must also have a DBS on the updated service or the willingness to conduct a new one.
You must come for a face to face interview within our Manchester based office. Once we have your DBS and your references then we can have you working in some of our nurseries in Trafford.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who wants to broaden their nursery experience or if you just have other commitments and cannot commit to a full time permeant contract.
