We're looking for a nursery nurse to join our team in Wythenshawe. Were looking for a full time member of staff to work between the hours of 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday. You must have experience with working in a nursery with children aged between 0-5 and have a good knowledge of the EYFS framework. This is a full time opportunity for anyone wanting to continue their career within the early years sector.

About our nursery.
We are based in a traditional setting in the heart of Wythenshawe. We are a medium sized nursery with around 60 children. We consist of a baby room, a toddler room and a pre-school room. We try to hold many different activities as possible such as yoga, dance, football, drama, etc.
We are also open to suggestions as we like to keep the nursery as unique as possible.
With the preschool room we try to teach the very basics of maths and English to get our little learners ready for primary school.
We have free parking on site but also have really good transport routes for those who don't drive.
We try our best to introduce different celebrations and festivals that are happening all over the world and to therefore, teach all about culture and diversity.

What will be expected of you when working in our nursery.
Day to day care of children within the setting
* Ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to
* Observation and planning in accordance with the EYFS
* Providing termly progress reports to parents/ carers
* Development of trusting relationship with parents /carers to support the developmental needs of 'key children'
* To be aware of all safeguarding procedures.
* To risk asses rooms before play.
* Providing and engaging children in stimulating play activities
* Assisting with tidying up and setting up rooms for the following day
* Following health and safety procedures and reporting issues to your line manager
* To work well alone and in a team.
* To organise play for different ages.
* To be aware of all different milestones and what ages you should be hitting them.
* To be aware of any allergies and food preference for all children.
* To confidentially discuss with parents about their children and their development.

What you will need…
You will need a DBS or the willingness to conduct a new one. A full childcare reference that proves your excellent experience. A level 3 CACHE qualification is preferred but not desired.
