job description

Are you a nursery nurse in Manchester looking for some part time flexible work?
Do you have a strong childcare background but struggle to commit to a full time permanent rota?
We're looking for a flexible worker to work either full time or part time in some of our nurseries in and around Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who wants to work either part time or full time in some of our nurseries. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is wanting to work around University, College, another job, childcare, etc.

Working on an agency is slightly different to having a part time role as not only do you get to chose your own working hours and be in charge completely of your working lifestyle. Working on an agency also allows you to widen your experience as you can work in different nurseries all over Bolton.
What will be expected of you when working in our nurseries…
It is relatively similar to if you were working within a nursery as a Permanent staff but here are some examples of what sort of tasks you will be doing when working with us.
- To assist with different team members to get the task done.
- To help with breakfast and lunch covers.
- To have strong initiative.
- To be aware of any safeguarding issues and to know who to report this to.
- To plan activities for small groups of children.
- To have the ability to work with babies, toddlers and pre-school children.
- To record all accidents and to ensure all parents and members of staff are informed.

Benefits of working with us…
A competitive salary.
The opportunity to work into different nurseries.
A fully flexible working rota that you chose.

What will be expected when working for us at our nursery…
- You will need to be aware of all safeguarding issues and to also risk asses rooms before play.
- Arrange lesson planning.
- You will need to be able to have confident discussions with parents regarding their child's growth and development.
- You will need to record all accidents and inform all staff and parents.
- You will need to be aware of any allergies that any of the children have.

To apply for this role you will need to have at least 6 months of experience working within a nursery or school that can be referenced. You will also need a DBS on the updated service or the willingness to conduct a new one.
To apply please either call Claire on 01612001904 or send your CV to alternatively apply below. We also have a lot of other opportunities that are available within early years all over the Greater Manchester region so if this sounds like the role for you please still give us a call.
