If this sounds like the kind of work you've been waiting for, please apply below or continue reading to establish the different responsibilities of the role. Within this role, you will be expected on a day to day basis to fulfil:
* Basic potty/toilet training and changing nappies of the younger children
* Working with a variety of different age groups and applying the different developmental stages of the EYFS Framework to establish the development of the children
* Following basic nursery policies and safeguarding children on a daily basis
* Assisting other members of staff with the different activities of the day including meal times and the diverse activities that are set up for the children
* Helping to maintain positive relationships with the parents and careers of the children
* Effective record keeping for the activities and milestones achieved throughout the day

If you would feel comfortable carrying out these activities within the role then please read below to find out what our ideal candidate would have to be successful in this position:
* Can work flexible working hours or have the availability that works around your own responsibilities
* Must have experience working in a child care environment professionally within the last 3 years and can provide a positive reference
* Have knowledge of the EYFS Framework and preferably have experience working with Ofsted or would be comfortable during an inspection
* Must have excellent knowledge of safeguarding with children and would feel confident dealing with a variety of situations involving any issues
* Be a good communicator with a number of different people and different ages
* Have experience working with children aged 0-5 years old or would feel comfortable working within this age group.
* Have an up to date, clean DBS on the Update Service or the willingness to complete a new one with us
