Are you level 3 qualified and are looking for a managerial role within a nursery? Do you have a strong child care background and have good knowledge of the EYFS framework? If so we have the perfect role for you. Our nursery is looking for a full time manager to manage one of our nurseries in Blakely. This is a full time role meaning you will be working 40 hours a week and shifts can be between 7am-6pm and the role is to also start as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities…
- To lead the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage, including overseeing planning and record keeping.
- To be a member of the management team and to contribute to the strategic planning, monitoring, evaluation and development of the nursery.
- Promote and facilitate partnership with parents/carers and other family members.
- Establish, develop and maintain highly professional working relationships with relevant local authority departments, regulatory bodies and other agencies.
- Lead the preparation and delivery of regular staff meetings, planning meetings and parents meetings and other events.
- Use the computer effectively for storing information using the nursery software system.
- Implement creative, fresh and fun ideas into the nursery to further progress the ethos and reputation of the nursery.
- To be committed to the safe guarding of all children in the nursery and your direct care.
- To assist with breakfast and lunch cover.
- To plan activities accordingly to the different age groups you are working with.
- To successfully incorporate learning through play.
- To work well within a team in order to get the task completed.
- Providing care and support for children's learning and independence.
- Being a key person to a group of children.
- Engaging children in activities and experiences that support their learning.
- Day to day care of children within the setting.
- Ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Observation and planning in accordance with the EYFS.
- Providing termly progress reports to parents/ carers.
- Development of trusting relationship with parents /carers to support the developmental needs of 'key children'.
- Safeguarding of children.
- Providing and engaging children in stimulating play activities.
- Assisting with tidying up and setting up rooms for the following day.
To be responsible for and to oversee the day to day management, staffing, organisation and smooth running of the nursery.

What will you need.



* A minimum of CACHE level 3.
* Atleast 1 years experience of being a manager.
* 3 years experience working with children.
* A can do positive attitude.
