Are you an experienced Nursery Manager? Are you ready for your next challenge? This busy, popular and well established nursery needs you!

A full time nursery manager role is available in the Moortown area of north Leeds. The position is starting as soon as possible but can be flexible with notice periods. This role will involve running the day nursery and leading the team of staff, reporting to the nursery directors when required. This position is 40 hours a week and exact working hours will be discussed if successful.

You will ideally hold EYPS or EYTS but a minimum of a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare (NVQ, CACHE, NNEB) is required. You will have up to date knowledge on the EYFS and safeguarding policies and must have experience in a management role within early years.

Experience Required:

Experience in a manager role within a private nursery or children centre setting
A minimum of 3 years work experience with children
Experience of supervising staff
Knowledge and experience of working within and implementing the EYFS statutory framework

Main roles include:

Ensuring the nursery meets Ofsted and early years foundation stage standards
Creating a safe and stimulating environment to promote learning
Updating parents and carers on children's progress
Working with colleagues to meet children's needs
Staff planning
Recruiting staff
Supporting and developing the nursery team
Managing a budget
Maintaining records and creating management reports
Complying with environmental, health and safety and fire regulations
Keeping up to date with developments in early years care
Building relationships with relevant agencies
