Nursey Manager
St. Albans

Are you a St Albans based Nursery Manager looking for the next step in your career?

* Do you have at least one year's experience as a nursery manager?

A Nursery in St Albans is looking for a Nursery Manager to join them in their purpose-built nursery in February. The role is suitable for those with a Level 4 qualification or above and at least one year's experience in a similar setting.

You must have experience working in the EYFS and be comfortable managing and training a team of assistants and nurses. You must also be UK qualified and have a sound understanding of the EYFS.

This is a purpose built, single-storey nursery with a well-designed layout. There are 61 children on a daily basis, ranging in age from three months to five years. There are 3 large base rooms: 3 months-24 months, 2-3's and 3-5's. The nursery has a good sized garden which includes 3 separate areas.

The Nursery will provide you with:

Responsibilities:



* Empower the team to deliver rich learning opportunities for all children by creating unique and exciting activities
* Lead and work proactively within the current Early Years Framework
* Establish and monitor the effectiveness of adjustments for individual Children
* Engage with the children and support staff to foster an enthusiasm for learning
* Ensure all staff are fully aware of their responsibilities and carry out their role in line with all policies, procedures and legislative requirements
* Train and mentor all staff members
* Manage the overall day-to-day operation of the nursery

You will need:



* At least 1 year's previous experience as a Nursery Manager
* Minimum of 4 year's occupational experience in a nursery setting
* A full and relevant Early Years qualification (for at least 3 years)
